Connecting the liquid waste line
Required materials
• Chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves
• Waste container
To connect the liquid waste line
1. Place a suitable waste container below the mass spectrometer.
2. Slide a drain line over the barbed fitting of the drain (located at the
left-hand side of the mass spectrometer).
Warning: The waste line and connection can be contaminated with
biologically hazardous materials. Always wear chemical-resistant,
powder-free gloves while performing this procedure.
