7.8.3
Operating telescoping arm
WARNING
Risk of accident due to vehicle tipping over!
A shifting of the center of gravity may adversely affect the stability of the
vehicle. This may result in an accident that could cause serious injury or
death.
► Only extend the telescoping arm if the vehicle is located on a level
and firm surface.
► Always watch the stability indicator display .
► First raise the loader unit completely, then extend the telescoping
arm.
► First retract the telescoping arm, then lower the loader unit.
► Only drive the vehicle on public streets with the telescoping arm re-
tracted.
► Keep the loader unit as close as possible to the ground when mov-
ing.
NOTICE
Damage to the loader unit!
Avoid damage to the telescoping arm!
There are significant leverage forces that could damage the telescoping
arm and hydraulic cylinders when loading, grading or scraping with the
telescoping arm extended.
► Do NOT load, grade or scrape with the telescoping arm extended.
► Only carry out loading, grading and scraping work when the tele-
scoping arm is completely retracted.
