Safety instructions for working with the telescoping arm
Observe the following points when working with the telescoping arm:
• When driving:
– Only drive with the telescoping arm retracted.
– Keep the loader unit lowered when driving.
– Raise the loader unit to the required height right in front of the un-
loading point and extend.
• Adapt the driving speed to the respective conditions.
• Adapt the driving speed to the loaded material.
• Pay attention to persons and obstacles.
• Observe the vehicle’s tipping point.
• Reduce the travel speed before going downhill.
• Always wear the seat belt.
• Ensure that no parts of the body protrude outside the vehicle.
• Steer the vehicle carefully when the loader unit is raised.
• Do not exceed the permissible payloads.

The telescoping arm is operated by using the control wheel 1 on the joy-
stick.
1. Turn the control wheel in direction I.
ð Telescoping arm extends.
2. Turn the control wheel in direction II.
ð Telescoping arm retracts.
The more the control wheel is turned away from position 0, the faster the
telescoping arm moves. When the control wheel is released, it automatic-
ally returns to position 0.
