The complete electrical system can quickly separated from the battery in
an emergency by means of the battery master switch. Switch off the bat-
tery overnight to avoid discharging the battery or to prevent other pos-
sible damage. The battery master switch can also be used as an addi-
tional anti-theft device when the battery master switch is removed.
Operating the battery master switch
The battery master switch is located in position 1 under the engine cover.
Optionally, the battery master switch can be mounted at position 2 in the
cab.
▪ Turn the battery master switch to the left.
ð The battery is disconnected from the electrical system.
▪ Turn the battery master switch to the right.
ð The battery is connected to the electrical system.
