WinGD X72DF - Pump Cylinder Installation

PROCEDURE
1 Clean all parts of the fuel pump.
2 Do a check the condition of all parts. If necessary, replace damaged parts.
3 Replace all O-rings and rod seal rings.
4 Use a low-pressure air supply to make sure that bores in the housings and in the pump
cylinder (001, Figure 10-13) are clean.

5 To assemble the pump cylinder, do the steps that follow:
5.1 Attach the top housing (003) vertically to the work bench.
5.2 Align the groove in the pump cylinder with the bore for the screw (002) in the top
housing (003).
5.3 Carefully put the pump cylinder (001) into the top housing (003).
5.4 Attach the pump cylinder (001) to the top housing (003) with the screw (002).
NOTE: Make sure that there is a clearance between the screw (002) and the
base of the groove.
