3.1.5 Shackles
Only those shackles may be used which are in accordance with American Standard RR−C
−271A or which fulfil or exceed these values, including the safety factor.
All calculations for components and tools where shackles are used are laid out accordingly and
based on the mentioned standards.
Normally, the permissible lifting capacity of the shackles is specified for one single strand.
