Notice:
The main bolt must always be unlocked manually using the key.
Opening/unlocking the door from the inside
Possibilities:
via the button
via the intercom (floating contact button!)
via the handle and the key (also possible in the event of a power failure)
4 Operation
4.1 Function day/night
4.2 Locking and unlocking
The day/night function prevents locking in day service mode – to enable easy
keyless access to the door (e.g. for loading/unloading a vehicle standing in front
of the door).
Closing/locking
When the door is pulled closed, automatic mechanical locking takes place by
means of 2 solid hooks (secured against being pushed back) and the latch in
the main lock housing.
After proper locking, a beep sounds as standard (only for EAV4+)
Additional protection is provided by manual locking, in which the bolt in the
main lock housing is extended by turning the key (1 x 360°).
Daytime release function
Temporary release of the door via mechanically adjustable daytime latch
TaFa, operation similar to an electric strike with daytime release.
