6. INTRODUCTION
6 Introducon
Workswell WIRIS Pro is the thermal imaging system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs, drones). It is a lightweight
all‐in‐one system equipped with a thermal imaging camera and a visible spectrum camera. The purpose of the
whole system is the simple capture, transfer, storage and processing of radiometric (temperature) data directly
from an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) and display of the data on the screen of the UAV remote controller in
real me. The system also oers a variety of measurement funcons, colour palees or alarm (security) modes,
which can be combined with a visible spectrum camera.

Workswell WIRIS Pro is designed in a way which allows control of all of its funcons during the ight. The system
has digital inputs, which are fully compable with standard RC receivers that support S.BUS. Two channels serve
as navigaon buons in the menu, the rest are shortcuts for the selected funcons (image capturing, video
recording, palee switching, zoom and others).
The system oers a digital video output. Both visible and thermal spectrum images can be displayed on the
screen at the same me.
