13. MAIN MENU (SETTINGS)
13.2 Range
RANGE submenu allows user to choose between AUTOMATIC range mode, the MANUAL mode, and the SPAN
mode. In case of manual temperature range, user manually sets the upper and lower limit. The SPAN mode
is analogous to MANUAL mode in funcon, but instead of requiring minimal and maximal value, user sets the
centerpoint temperature and temperature span, with the minimal and maximal values calculated automacally.
Addionally, the ENVIRONMENT opon allows the user to toggle between the two internal temperature ranges
of the thermal camera itself.
RANGE menu consists of the following items:
MODE ‐ AUTOMATIC, SPAN and MANUAL
MAX ‐ Manual temperature range maximum. Available only when MANUAL range selected.
MIN ‐ Manual temperature range minimum. Available only when MANUAL range selected.
WINDOW ‐ The temperature range around the centerpoint determining posion of the minimum and maxi‐
mum. Available only with SPAN mode selected.
CENTER ‐ The centerpoint value which the SPAN mode will determine the posion of minimum and maxi‐
mum around. Available only with SPAN mode selected.
ENVIRONMENT ‐ Switches thermal camera between the available ranges (for example ‐25
◦
C to +150
◦
C
and ‐40
◦
C to +550
◦
C).
