System Administrator’s Login ID
The System Administrator’s Login ID can be from 1 to 32 characters.
Note
The default system administrator Login ID is 11111.
1. Select System Administrator Login ID.
2. Select On.
3. Select Keyboard, then in New System Administrator Login ID, enter the system
administrator ID, and select Save.
4. Select Keyboard once more, and in Re-enter System Administrator Login ID, enter the
same system administrator ID, and select Save.
5. Select Save.
System Administrator’s Passcode
Set the passcode for System Administration mode.The passcode is used to access the control
panel when Passcode Entry from Control Panel is set to On. A passcode must be entered for
local account login. However, a passcode must always be entered when accessing either
remotely or from the network.
Tip
This is recommended for stronger security.
Note
The default setting of the system administrator passcode is x-admin.
The System Administrator’s Passcode appears in Authentication/Security Settings > System
Administrator Settings. Set the password after setting the system administrator UserID. The
passcode must be from 4-12 characters.
