4. Install the dowels 4 onto the lower case
and extension 5 (X, Y-transom).

5. Install the lower unit to the upper case,
and then tighten the lower case bolts
(nut) 6 to the specified torque.
NOTE:
Turn the flywheel magnet slightly clockwise to
align the splines, without removing the power
unit.
6. Install the trim tab 7 on its original posi-
tion, and then tighten the trim tab bolt 8.
7. Install the cover 9.
8. Install the spacer 0, propeller q, spacer
w, spacer e and the propeller nut r.
Lower case bolt (nut) 6:
40 N·m (4.0 kgf·m, 29.5 ft·lb)
