Push rod installation
1. Loosen:
9Locknut (rocker arm)
9Valve adjuster
2. Install:
9Cylinder head gasket
(to cylinder body)
9Cylinder head ass’y
9Push rod 1
NOTE:
9When installing the push rod 1, check it’s
connect position on the holder 2 of valve
lifter.
9Adjust valve clearance after installing
push rods.

Push rod inspection
1. Measure:
9Push rod runout
Out of specification ® Replace the
defective part.
Push rod runout limit:
0.5 mm (0.02 in)
