electrical components are at operating

3. Start the engine, and increase the spark
gap until misfire occurs. (Test at various
r/min between idle and red line.)
Minimum spark gap: 6mm (0.24 in)
Do not run the engine in neutral above
6000 r/min for more than 1 or 2 seconds.
If the ignition system becomes inoperative or
if the engine misfires at the minimum spark
gap or at a smaller gap, there is a problem in
the ignition system. Follow the troubleshoot-
ing chart until the source of the problem is
located.
3. Demarrer le moteur et augmenter Pinter-
valle dletincellement jusqu'a ce qu'un
rate se produise. (Essayer a divers re-
gimes entre le relent et la zone rouge.)
Etincellement minmal: 6 mm (0,24 in)

Ne pas faire tourner le moteur an point mort
a plus de 6000 tr/mn pendant plus de 1 ou 2
secondes.
Si le systerne d'allumage devient inoperant ou
si le moteur a des rates a l'intervalle d'etincel-
lement minimal ou

un plus petit intervene,

y a un probleme dans le systeme d'allumage.
Suivre le tableau de depa.nnage jusqu'a ce que
la source du probleme soit locaIlisee.
3. Motor anlassen und Funkenstrecke ver-
groRern, bis Fehlzundungen auftreten.
(Bei verschiedenen Motordrehzahlen
zwischen Leerlauf und rotem Bereich
prlifen.)
Mindestfunkenstrecke: 6 mm (0,24 in)
Der Motor darf im Leerlauf nicht fiir mehr als
1-2 Sekunden fiber 6.000 U/min gedreht wer- •
den.
Wenn die andanlage untauglich oder der
Motor schon bei der Mindest-oder noch
kleineren Ziindfunkenstrecke Fehlziindungen
erzeugt, dann ist ein Fehler in der Zundanlage.
Anhand der Fehlersuchanleitung die engage-
benen Punkte iiberprilfen, bis der Fehler ge-
