2. Immerse the thermostatic switch in the
engine oil as shown. While heating the
engine oil, check the continuity at each
temperature. If the thermostatic switch
will not operate as shown in the table
below, the thermostatic switch is faulty.
It should be replaced.
Comme illustre, immerger le therrno-
contact dans du huile du moteur. Tout
en chauffant du huile du moteur, con-
trOler la continuite pour chaque tem-
perature indiquee. Si le thermocontact
ne fonctionne pas comme indique dans
le tableau ci-dessous, il est endommage
et dolt etre change.
2. Den Thermostatschalter gem6i1 Abbil-
dung in Motorol tauchen. Das Motor-ell
erw5rmen und den Schalter bei den ver-
schiedenen Temperaturen auf Strom-
durchgang pri.ifen. Falls der Thermostat-
schalter nicht bei den in der Tabelle
gezeigten Temperaturen arbeitet, dann
ist er beschadigt und mug erneuert wer-
den.

3. Install the thermostatic switch,
torque the switch to specification.
Tightening torque:
15Nm (1.5m-kg, 11ft•lb)
3. Monter le thermocontact puis le serrer
au couple specifie.
Couple de serrage:
15 Nm (1,5 m.kg, 11 ft.lb)
3. Den Thermostatschalter einbauen uncl
mit dem vorgeschriebenen Anzugsmo-
ment festziehen.
Anzugsmoment:
15 Nm (1,5 m.kg, 11 ft.lb)
