Disconnect the blue/green lead of the
thermostatic switch and ground it to the
motor body.
If the electric fan turns, it is in good con-
dition and instead, the thermostatic
switch is considered to be faulty. Re-
place it and check that the fan rotates.

If the fan does not turn with the thermo-
static switch lead being grounded to the
engine body, check if the fan relay clicks
when the relay lead is grounded.
If not, replace the relay and make a
check again before replacing the thermo-
static switch.

Debrancher le fil bleu/vert du thermo-
contact puis le mettre a une bonne masse
sur le moteur. Si le ventilateur electrique
se met en marche, il est en bon etat mais
par contre le thermocontact est considers
clefectueux. Changer le thermocontact
puis contrOler si le ventilateur se met en
marche.

Si Ie ventilateur ne se met pas en marche
lorsque le fil du thermocontact est mis
une bonne masse sur Ie moteur, contrOler
si le relais de ventilateur emet un claque-
ment quand on met son fil a la masse.
Si le relais n'emet pas de claquement, le
changer puis recontroler avant de passer
au changement du thermocontact.

Masse legen.
Arbeitet der Liifter, dann befident sich
dieser in gutem Zustand, wogegen der
Thermostatschalter als schadhaft ange-
sehen werden kann. Den Schalter erneu-
ern und die Funktion des Utters noch-
mals kontro I I ieren.

Falls der Liifter nicht arbeitet, wenn
das Kabel des Thermostatschalters an
Masse gelegt wird, auf ein Anzieh-
gerbusch des Liifterrelais achten, sobald
dessen Kabel an Masse gelegt wird.
Ist kein Anziehgerausch vernehmbar, das
Relais erneuern und nochmals prilfen,
bevor der Thermostatschalter ausgetau-
scht wird.
4. Replace the thermostatic switch with a
new one, as necessary, and tighten it to
specification.
Tightening torque:
15 Nm (1.5 m•kg, 11.0 ft•lb)
4. Remplacer le thermocontact par un neuf,
si necessaire, puis le serrer au couple spe-
cific.
Couple de serrage:
15 Nm (1,5 m.kg, 11,0 ft.Ib)
4. Den Thermostatschalter ggf. erneuern
und mit dem vorgeschriebenen Anzugs-
moment festziehen.
Anzugsmoment:
15 Nm (1,5 m•kg, 11,0 ft•lb)
