AEN Messages
AEN (asynchronous event notifications) are messages issued by the 3ware
RAID controller when an error is detected such or when an action is
completed. These are summarized in Table 11. Descriptions of each are
provided at the end of the table.
If you use 3DM 2, AEN messages are displayed on the Alarms page. If you
use the CLI, AEN messages can be listed using the
show alarms command.
On the 3DM 2 Alarms page, the AEN number is the last few digits within the
parentheses at the beginning of the message description. For example, in the
string
(0x04:0x002B), ā2Bā is the AEN number. To find additional
information about the AEN 2B, you would look up 02Bh on the pages below.
