5.2 Easy to use kits
A number of easy to use kits are available by ABB Flexible Automation AB. These kits
contain all parts needed to install and operate external axes.
The kit contains:
- Motor/motors with brake and resolver. Different sizes of motors available.
- Gear boxes.
- Connection box with serial measurement board, manual brake release and ter-
minal block for limit switches.
- All cables with connectors.
- Configuration file for easy software installation.
