Removing the axis-5 motor

Make sure that all supplies for electrical
power, hydraulic pressure, and air pressure
are turned off.

24 VDC power supplyTo release the brakes, connect the 24 VDC
power supply.

Connect to connector R2.MP5:
• pin 2 = 24V
• pin 5 = 0V
Bits extender: 3HAC12342-1

Unscrew the attachment screws that secure
the motor, using a bits extender.

CAUTION
Whenever parting/mating motor pinion and
hub, the splines may be damaged if excess-
ive force is used!

Removal tool M12If needed fit removal tools in opposite
holes.

CAUTION
The motor weighs 27 kg.
All lifting accessories used must be sized
accordingly.
