Control solution, this will be the name assigned when defining the
solution.
• Sample Type: The type of sample (Specimen or Control).
• Replicate #: The replicate number for that sample.
• Osmolality [mOsm/kg H
2
O]: The result of the measurement.
• Date/Time: The date and time of the start of the measurement.
• Operator ID: The name of the operator who initiated the measure-
ment. This column may be hidden if user IDs are not enabled.
• Tube Holder #: The position in the primary carousel from which
the sample was drawn.
• Sample Tube #: The position in the osmometer turntable used for
the measurement.
• Protocol Name: The name of the protocol used for the measure-
ment (if named protocols are turned on). This column may be hid-
den if named protocols are not enabled.
Search
The Search button is only enabled if either the Sample ID column or the
Date/Time column is selected. Touching anywhere in the desired col-
umn selects that column. You may also use the navigation buttons on
the keypad to select a column. One cell in the selected column will have
a dark outline.
If
the Sample ID column is selected when the Search button is pushed, a
text input screen appears. Wild card characters may be inserted in the
search string by using the Wild Card button. When the Enter button
on the text input screen is pushed, only results matching the search are
shown in the grid.
If the Date/Time column is selected when the Search button is pushed, a
Date Select screen (Figure 39) appears. This is used to select two dates
to bracket the results shown in the Results screen.
