Use Named Protocols
When this button is checked, named protocols are active.
A “Named
Protocol” must be selected in the drop-down menu on the Test Setup
screen. If this button is not checked, the settings on the Test Setup screen
are still active. In this case, the Test Protocol drop-down menu and the
Save, Save As, and Delete buttons are not visible.
Allow Delete of Built-Ins
When this button is checked, any of the built-in protocols may be deleted.
Restore Built-Ins
When this button is pushed, all deleted built-in protocols are restored.
Only Supervisors can modify
When this button is checked, only users in the Supervisor group may
make changes to the protocols.
Assistance
Brings up the Assistance screen (Figure 37), as described later in this
chapter.
Control Solutions screen
The Control Solutions screen (Figure 20) is used to define the control and
reference solutions known to the system. When the A
2
O recognizes a pri-
mary tube as one of the control solutions on the list, the results are tagged
such that they may be retrieved for quality control purposes.
Spreadsheet
The list of defined control solutions is displayed in a spreadsheet. The
fields and their definitions are:
• Name: Name of the solution as it will appear in the results display.
• Barcode: Barcode applied to the sample tube or adapter.
• Expected Value: Value expected when this solution is measured.
This may be either the value supplied by the manufacturer or a mean
of many measurements made by you.
