“Cannot Read Barcode”
If you lose power to your instrument, we rec-
ommend that you check that your outlet is
providing the correct amount of power.
Check that your cord is firmly plugged into
both the instrument and the outlet. Visually
inspect the fuses, and change as necessary.
If you see this message, first try restarting
your instrument. Contact Advanced
Instruments Hot-Line Service for instructions
on verifying that the block probe is plugged
into the osmometer circuit board.
If you see this message, verify that there is
sufficient fluid in the calibration ampules.
Then recalibrate. If the problem persists,
contact Advanced Instruments Hot-Line
Service.
Primary sample tubes or calibration adapters
do not contain a barcode, or they are posi-
tioned so that the barcode cannot be read.
Manually enter the barcodes, or reposition
the tubes and holders so that the barcodes are
visible in the slots of the tube holders.
Make sure that the instrument is unplugged before remov-
ing the instrument cover!
