3.5.5 Crankshaft hub piece
NOTE: 33-engines have speed sensor located on
the crankshaft pulley. There fore these engines
have fixed hub and pulley position with key and
cotter pin.

Procedure
1.
Check hub piece condition, especially the sealing surface.
2.
Fit a 3 mm spacer ring under the crankshaft rear oil seal, if the sealing surface is worn out.
The crankshaft pulley does not have any timing or installation marks.
There is no specific position for the crankshaft hub piece.
3.5.6 Checking element of the rubber damper (44-49 engines)
Procedure
1.
Check the alignment marks (A) on both sides
of the rubber element.
If the difference is more than 1.5 mm,
change the damper for a new one.
