6. After the tank is drained and the flow of waste fluid from the vacuum tank stops,
disconnect the tubing from the Waste Vac port. To disconnect the tubing, press down
on the release tab and pull the quick-disconnect fitting out (Figure 4.40).
NOTE
A small amount of residual water may be in the tubing. When the tubing is pulled out of the waste
port, hold the end of the tubing up so that residual water drains out the other end back into the
waste reservoir or sink.
NOTE
If you are using an external waste tank, be sure to connect the waste tubing back to the Waste
port.
7. Set the vacuum vent switch to the Closed position.
