5. Open the main door.
The safety interlock is disengaged! message appears.
6. Remove the ultrasonic wash supply bottle from the wash station block (Figure 4.10).
When the wash supply bottle is lifted off the wash station block, the ball stopper will
seal the opening.

performing the next steps.
7. Turn the wash supply bottle so that the reservoir opening is up and fill it with the
50:50 water-ethanol solution.
8. Hold the supply bottle over a sink, place your thumb on the opening to seal it, then
turn the supply bottle so that the reservoir opening is down.
The ball stop will descend.
9. Release your thumb from the opening when the ball stop is at the bottle opening.
The ball stop will seal the opening. A small amount of solution may leak out of the
bottle while the ball stop seals the bottle.
10. Place the supply bottle (with the opening down) back onto the wash station block,
firmly seating it in place so that the O-ring seals against the block (Figure 4.11).
The supply bottle solution fills the ultrasonic wash. Most of the bottle contents will
flow into the ultrasonic wash.
