The spreading vane position depends on:
• the working width and
• the type of fertiliser.
• Swivelling the spreading vanes to a higher scale value in
creases
the working width.
• The shorter spreading vanes primarily distribute the fertiliser in
the centre of the spread pattern,
while the longer vanes primarily
distribute it to the outer area.
