5.18 Border spreading deflector and bed spreading deflector
The border spreading deflector and the bed
spreading deflector are installed between the
spreading discs and influence the spread fans
such that border spreading or bed spreading is
possible.
(1) Hand lever to operate the spreading deflec-
tor.
Alternative: Electric actuation with a sepa-
rate dashboard
(2) Adjustable telescope on the bed spreading
deflector
Border spreading deflector:
• Boundary spreading when the 1st tramline
is located directly at the field boundary.
• The shutter on the border side stays closed
during boundary spreading.

Bed spreading deflector:
• Fertiliser spreading on both sides over the
whole area
• Recess in the area of the tractor wheel
mark
The telescope serves to adjust the inner
limitation of the spread fan.

equipped with a position indicator:
1 – Spread deflector in use
