5.3 Spreading discs with spreading vanes
An infinite adjustment of the working widths is
possible by
• swivelling the spreading vanes onto the
spreading discs,
• replacing the spreading vanes on the
spreading discs.
In the case of the ZA-V, the spreading discs and
agitators are powered by the PTO shaft via the
middle gearbox and angular gearbox.

Looking in the direction of travel:
(1) Left spreading disc
(2) Right spreading disc
(3) Long spreading vane - Adjustment scale
with values from 35 to 55.
(4) Short spreading vane – Adjustment scale
with values from 5 to 25.

The spreading vanes are installed in such a way that the open sides
point in the direction of rotation and take in the fertiliser.
Configure the settings using the information in the setting chart. You
can easily check the configured working width using the mobile ferti-
liser test rig (optional).
