Replacement e-m@iler
If you're installing a replacement e-m@iler, you must first adopt your old e-m@iler
account as described on page 132.
After adopting your old
e-m@iler account, carry out the previous transfer procedure using
option 1 to transfer your Address Book entries.
& If you are unable to transfer the Address Book entries because the message
Hold down [EMAIL] button to restore service
appears, you will need to
make an email call first (do this by holding down the EMAIL button until
Dialling for email is displayed). Wait until the email call has finished, then
retry the above procedure.
Multiple e-m@ilers
If you have more than one e-m@iler at home or in the office (or both), you can use a
Pocket Dock-it to circulate the Address Book, as follows:
First determine your master e-m@iler (containing the latest Address Book data). Plug
the Pocket Dock-it into that machine and use option 9 to transfer its data to the Pocket
Dock-it. Thereafter, you can insert that Pocket Dock-it into other
e-m@ilers and use
option 1 to add the latest data to each user's existing Address Book.
IMPORTANT – When transferring data to other
e-m@ilers from your Pocket
Dock-it, make sure you do not use option 2 or 9.
& If you want to delete an Address Book entry, this has to be done on each
e-m@iler individually (information on page 47).
