25. Q: Will I be able to access every web site?
A: No, the e-m@iler uses a web browser that is specifically designed to display low graphic
content sites. General web sites may also be viewed, but due to their complexity may
offer limited access.
26. Q: Is there an easy way of remembering or storing web pages/addresses that I use
frequently?
A: Yes, you can store web pages/addresses as favourites.
27. Q: Is there a way to search for a particular topic if I don't know the web page/address?
A: Yes, you can use a search engine. You will find one on the Amsurf home page.
28. Q: I can't seem to escape from a web page – what shall I do?
A: Try pressing STOP twice quickly. If that doesn't work, press INTERNET.
29. Q: How do I enter the Amschat chatrooms?
A: When you enter the Amsurf home page, use U D to highlight lAmschatl then press
ENTER. The first time you use Amschat, select REGISTER YOUR NICKNAME then
type in your details and select llSubmit Registrationll. (Remember to take note of
your nickname and password.) After you’ve registered, whenever you want to use
Amschat, you simply enter your nickname and password, select a room and then chat.
Press ENTER twice every now and again to refresh the messages on the screen.
30. Q: How do I post a message on the Message Board or e-pals?
A: When you enter the Amsurf home page, use U D to highlight lPlusZonel then press
ENTER. Use U D and ENTER to select lMessage Boardl or le-palsl then you will
see an information screen. Press ENTER to enter the 'PLUSZONE MESSAGE BOARD'
or 'PLUSZONE E-PALS' front page. To post a message, select [Post]
then type in your
name, email address, subject and message, then select llPost Messagell.
31. Q: How much does it cost to use ringtones?
A: The cost of downloading each ringtone is displayed on the screen before you select and
download it. Once downloaded, it is stored permanently until you delete it. Downloading a
new ringtone does not delete any of the existing ringtones.
32. Q: I don't want my ringtone - how do I restore the standard 'ring ring'?
A: Press SERVICES, 3, 1, 0 then press STOP twice to return to standby display.
33. Q: How much does it cost to play games?
A: The cost of downloading each game is displayed on the screen before you download it
(the cost varies depending on the rental period you select). Once downloaded, playing the
game is free.
34. Q: Can I use the phone to make/receive calls whilst playing games?
A: Yes, the telephone line is used only while the game is being downloaded; not while it is
being played.
