Spectrum Analyzer RF Input VSWR Verification
This test verifies the Spectrum Analyzer RF Input VSWR of Spectrum Master Model MS2721B.
Required Equipment:
• Anritsu Model MS4624x Vector Network Measurement System (VNMS)
• Spectrum Master Model MS2721B
• 3753R Type N 9 GHz Calibration Kit for VNMS
• RF Coaxial Cable, Anritsu Model 15NN50-1.5B
• Test Port Extension Cable, Anritsu Model 15NNF50-1.5B
Procedure:
1. Install a 15NNF50-1.5B cable on Port 1 of the MS4624x VNMS so that the test port (open end of cable) is
the male connector.
2. On the VNMS, press the Default key and press Continue. Allow the instrument to default.
3. Press the Freq key. Then set the Start Frequency to 10 MHz and the Stop Frequency to 7.1 GHz.
4. Press the CH1 key.
5. Press the Display key, press Display Mode, and then press Single Channel.
