a Load the calibration rack onto the sampler.

To read the standard values from the calibration information barcodes:
Skip to step 8.
To enter the standard values with the numeric buttons:
Skip to step 7.
6 Check the measurement mode (Variant or Fast).
a On the standby screen, check the [Measurement mode] setting.
• To change the mode, see “2.4. Measurement Mode Selection (Variant or Fast)” on page 2-14.
For the barcode operation:
Skip to step 8.
For the numeric button operation:
Skip to step 7.
If sample rack transportation is set to “loop transportation”:
Load the empty start rack and then calibration rack onto the sampler.
To perform normal measurement following calibration:
Load the calibration rack and then normal racks onto the sampler.
Calibration coefficients are stored separately for the Variant and Fast modes. Therefore, the instrument must
be in the mode to calibrate.
