3.3 Measurement Conditions
3.3.1 Setting the User-specified Coefficients
Set coefficients “a” and “b” of the correction formula for HbA1C and HbF, “Y=aX+b”.
a On the standby screen, check the [Measurement mode] setting.
• To change the mode, see “2.4. Measurement Mode Selection (Variant or Fast)” on page 2-14.
b On the standby screen, select , <3 Measurement condition menu> and <1 User-specified coefficient
setup> in that order.
c Enter coefficients.
• button: Moves the cursor to the next setup field.
d Press .
• The message “Settings changed. Save setting changes?” will
appear.
e Press .
• This saves your entries and will return you to the [Measurement condition menu] screen.
f To return to the standby screen, press twice.
IMPORTANT:
User-specified coefficients are stored separately for the Variant and Fast modes. Therefore, the instrument
must be in the mode you want.
