2.2.3 Hemolysis Washing Solution
Use only hemolysis washing solution specified for the instrument.
ARKRAY provides “HEMOLYSIS WASHING SOLUTION 80H” as hemolysis washing solution specifically for
the HA-8180V. Before use, read the package insert that comes with the solution and observe all handling
instructions.
When storing the hemolysis washing solution:
Store unopened hemolysis washing solution bottles at a temperature between 3°C and 30°C, avoiding
direct sunlight. Once opened, use the hemolysis washing solution within one month, even if it is before
expiration date.
Observe expiration date.
Do not use hemolysis washing solution bottle beyond its expiration date. The expiration date is written on
both the box and bottle label.
Replace the bottle.
Replace the hemolysis washing solution bottle with a new one even if a small volume of solution remains.
Adding new solution to the old bottle can cause inaccurate measurement results.
Allow hemolysis washing solution to adjust to room temperature before use.
If hemolysis washing solution is stored in a refrigerator, allow it to adjust to the same environment as the
instrument for at least one hour before placing it on the instrument.
