6. Configure Avaya Aura® Communication Manager Release 7.1
This section illustrates an example configuration allowing SIP signaling via the “Processor
Ethernet” of Communication Manager to Session Manager.
Note – The initial installation, configuration, and licensing of the Avaya servers and media
gateways for Communication Manager are assumed to have been previously completed and are not
discussed in these Application Notes. Consult [5] - [9] for further details.
6.1. Verify Licensed Features
Note – This section describes steps to verify Communication Manager feature settings that are
required for the reference configuration described in these Application Notes. Depending on access
privileges and licensing, some or all of the following settings might only be viewed, and not
modified. If any of the required features are not set, and cannot be configured, contact an
authorized Avaya account representative to obtain the necessary licenses/access.
Step 1 - Enter the display system-parameters customer-options command. On Page 2 of the
form, verify that the Maximum Administered SIP Trunks number is sufficient for the
number of expected SIP trunks.
