Connecting to the IPSIs

NOTE:
The craft login used on the IPSI has a different password than the craft login used on the
media servers.
7 Log in as craft.
Prompt = [IPADMIN]:
8 Type set control interface ipaddr netmask, where ipaddr is the customer-provided IP
address and netmask is the customer provided subnet mask. Press
Enter.
9 Type show control interface. Press Enter.
The IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway information will be displayed.
Verify that the proper information was entered.
10 If required, type set control gateway gateway, where gateway is the customer-provided
IP address for their gateway. Press
Enter.
11 If required, use the set vlan priority, set vlan tag, set vlan id and set diffserv
commands to enter VLAN and diffserv parameters for the IPSI. Use Help to obtain
syntax guidelines for these commands.
12 Type reset. Press Enter
Answer Y to the warning.
NOTE:
Resetting the IPSI terminates the administration session. If further administration is
required, start a new telnet session to the IPSI.
