4 Route the media gateway GROUND wire to the single-point ground block at the AC load
center and connect.
NOTE:
If the media gateway is located remotely (in a separate room or building), connect the
media gateway GROUND wire to an approved ground.
5 Repeat connecting each media gateway to the single-point ground block.
6 At the AC load center, connect a 10 AWG (#25) (6 mm
2
) wire to the single-point ground
block. This ground wire will later be tie-wrapped to the trunk cables and connected to the
Coupled Bonding Conductor (CBC) ground block at the MDF.
The Coupled Bonding Conductor (CBC) wires are installed and terminated in ‘‘Install
the Coupled Bonding Conductor’’ on page 167.
