F-FEM-DDC Users Guide
The two solder bridges on the solder side are for bridging the galvanic isolation
by connecting the +24 Vout and COMM+ together (SB_24), as well as
connecting GND_24_out together with COMM- (SB_GND).
5.3 Digital I/O Connection Box DCB
The Digital Connection Box (DCB) is for an individual channel by channel
connection of different sensors and actors. It can be used at the digital inputs
(connectors X41 - X44) as well as at the digital outputs (connectors X51-X54).
Digital Connection Box:
4 input/output channels at one connection box
each sensor/actor is connectable individually
status LEDs for each digital I/O channel and in addition for 24V
easy marking of channels with (norm-)names via marking-strips
continuous IP65 protection from the Snap-In Unit to actor or sensor
industry and automotive standard pinout with one 5 pin M12 plug connector
(AB-coded)
speed-con ™ compatible sockets for a fast 180° plug & turn connection
5 m cable with quick lock connector to F-FEM-DDC
Information
When shorting the solder bridges, you have two +24V_out pins (1, 9) and two
GND_24_out pins (8, 15) available with a cable contact screw each.
