can be used to connect the BCS-COM and BCS-805/810 modules. The connection has to be
made to the logic line part only.
The BCS-PDU offers two types of power supply: the Logic Line (UPS) and the Power Line.
The communication module is connected to the PDU unit via a Logic Line. The BCS-815
modules have both types of power supply connections. Each module is connected to the
PDU units via both the Logic and Power Lines (see Fig. ). The Logic Line outputs of the
BCS-PDU serve as a UPS system (see 2.3.1). The logic line connections ensure continued
data transfer if a power failure occurs.
