Interchangeable Lens Mount
Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K is shipped with an EF mount attached, however you are not
locked into using EF lenses as the camera has an interchangeable lens mount. This means you
can remove the original EF mount and attach an optional PL, B4 or F mount. Blackmagic Design
PL, B4, and F lens mount kits are available from Blackmagic Design resellers, and the EF mount
is also available if you ever need to replace your original mount.
With the ability to interchange three separate mounts, you have the freedom to use different
lenses based on the type of assignments you’re working on. For example, the EF mount lets
you use high quality stills lenses, the B4 mount is perfect if you want to use par-focal zoom
lenses for electronic news gathering or wedding shoots, and the PL mount lets you use high
end, robust cinema lenses designed for absolute precision and repeatable control.
Attaching each mount is as simple as unscrewing the original EF mount and replacing it with the
new mount. It’s very easy!
To remove the EF mount, simply unscrew the four M3 Hex screws using a 2mm Hex driver.
The original EF mount is easily removed by unscrewing the four
M3Hex screws and gently lifting the mount from the camera body
