2.11 System Power Up
The system shows a trouble upon any power-up
because the date and time settings are missing.
This trouble remains until these settings are
made.
To reduce the occurrence of false
alarms upon panel power-up (or
restoration of power after a complete
loss of primary and secondary power),
the control panel ignores all zone
faults for approximately 60 sec while
the devices stabilize.
2.12 System Status LED
Figure 61 shows the location of the control
panel’s system status LED. Table 19 shows the
LED’s response to system conditions.

2.13 Installer Keypad
A text keypad can be configured as an Installer
Keypad.
This keypad is not intended for permanent
installation and must remain with the
installer/service technician.
Use the color-coded keypad wire assembly
supplied with the control panel (P/N: 15-04298-
0000) to connect the Installer Keypad to the
control panel’s Aux/Data pins. See Figure 62.

Control panel board

Installer Switch must be closed to use
the Installer Keypad.
