(15) Open the ADF unit.
(16) Release the three Hooks and remove the Flat cable holder from the Document scanner unit.
(17) Pull out the Harness of the ADF unit from the Hole of the Document scanner unit.
(18) Remove the ADF unit from the Document scanner unit.

Assembling Note:
- When assembling the Flat cable holder, take care not to accidentally damage the Hooks,
which are easily get broken.
- When the ADF unit is replaced, be sure to fold and assemble the Second side CIS flat
cable as shown in the figure.
- After disconnecting Flat cables, check that each cable is not damaged at its end or
short-circuited.
- When connecting Flat cables, do not insert them at an angle. After insertion, check that
the cables are not at an angle.
