How to Configure HQoS on a Satellite
Hierarchical QoS allows you to specify QoS behavior at multiple policy levels, which provides a high degree
of granularity in traffic management. A hierarchical policy is a QoS model that enables you to specify QoS
behavior at multiple levels of hierarchy.
Configure the Traffic Class
Perform these tasks to create class-maps.

DETAILED STEPS

Step 1
Creates a class map to be used for matching packets to the class specified
and enters the class map configuration mode.
class-map match-any class-map-name
Example:
Step 2
The match-any keyword indicates that atleast one of the match criteria
must be met for traffic entering the traffic class to be classified as part of
the traffic class.
Specifies service (QoS) group values in a class map to match packets.
match qos-group [qos-group-value]
Step 3
Example:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config-cmap)#
match qos-group 5
The match qos-group [qos-group-value] is just an example of
one of the match commands that can be used. For a list of other
match commands, see the Supported Capability Matrix table.

Ends the class map configuration.end-class-map
Step 4
Example:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config-cmap)#
end-class-map
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 to configure additional
class-maps.
