Step 3 Click Provisioning > SNMP > SNMP V3 > General and note the context engine ID. The is required in
Step 7.
Step 4 Double-click the GNE.
Step 5 Complete the DLP-G496 Creating an SNMPv3 User, on page 68 to create an SNMPv3 user on the GNE.
Step 6 Complete the following tasks as needed on the ENE:
• DLP-G496 Creating an SNMPv3 User, on page 68
• DLP-G498 Create Group Access , on page 69
• DLP-G497 Create MIB Views , on page 69
Step 7 Complete the DLP-G502 Manually Configuring the SNMPv3 Proxy Forwarder Table, on page 73. Use the
context engine ID from Step 3, the local user details created in Step 5, and the remote user created in Step 6.
