VPN 3000 Concentrator Series User Guide
Add / Modify / Delete
To configure and add a new group, click Add. The Manager opens the Configuration | User Management |
Groups | Add
screen.
To modify parameters for a group that has been configured, select the group from the list and click
Modify. The Manager opens the appropriate internal or external Configuration | User Management | Groups |
Modify
screen.
To remove a group that has been configured, select the group from the list and click
Delete. There is no
confirmation or undo. The Manager refreshes the screen and shows the remaining groups in the list.
When you delete a group, all its members revert to the base group. Deleting a group, however, does not
delete its members user profiles.
You cannot delete a group that is configured as part of a LAN-to-LAN connection. See the
Configuration
| System | Tunneling Protocols | IPSec LAN-to-LAN | Add | Done
screen.
Reminder: The Manager immediately includes your changes in the active configuration. To save the active
configuration and make it the boot configuration, click the
Save Needed icon at the top of the Manager
window.
