Problem
Possible cause
Measure
High torque is needed dur-
ing a fastening sequence,
e.g., for coated fasteners.
If a high torque is needed for a longer period of
time, e.g., for several turns, the number of run-
downs that can be achieved with one battery
charge will be significantly reduced.
Battery has too many
charging cycles.
After 800 charging cycles, the capacity is re-
duced to approx. 60%.
Software does not boot. Error in the main software.
Press the following keys:
Use recovery SD card. Contact Sales &
Service Center, see back page.

7.4 WLAN data communication problems
WLAN data communication problems between controller and access point
Problem
Possible cause
Measure
No communication be-
tween the controller/service
PC and access point. Ap-
plies only to WLAN infra-
structure customers.
IP address and subnet
mask are not in the same
range.
Without network administration, it is necessary
for the IP address and subnet mask for the
mPro200GC and the base station to be in the
same range.
1. Use the same subnet mask for both.
2. For the IP address, use the same first
three numbers, e.g.,
- IP address for the controller:
192.168.1.xxx
- IP address for the base station:
92.168.1.xxx
- Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
WLAN data communication problems between tool and access point
Problem
Possible cause
Measure
The tool can not connect
with the access point.
Indicator:
Signal strength at tool is al-
ways "-".
The tool does not appear in
the list of connected cli-
ents.
Tool not yet parameterized
with the correct WLAN set-
tings.
Parameterize WLAN settings in the con-
troller and with the Cordless RF Con-
figuration PC software. See Document
P2545KA
.
WLAN settings are differ-
ent for the tool and the ac-
cess point.
Use the
Cordless RF Configuration
PC software to check whether the WLAN
settings for the tool match the settings of
the access point (SSID, encryption, net-
work key).
Encryption settings are not
selected correctly.
Password is entered incor-
rectly.
Incorrect WLAN channel
Select another channel.
1. Select the channel on the controller: Util-
ity > Cordless Tools.
2. Select the channel with the
Cordless RF
Configuration PC software. The same
channel must be set as on the controller.
