FOREWORD
This manual is intended for installers, service technicians, and persons in the
heating and air conditioning industry.
lt gives them an understanding of the
90 Plus high-efficiency gas furnace. The 90 Plus unit is a condensing gas
furnace using a tubular heat exchanger, hot surface or direct spark ignition,
solid-state integrated furnace control, and the latest technology available for
safe operation.
This manual is designed to augment the Manufacturer's installation and
operation instructions. In no way does it supersede or replace the
Manufacturer's installation and operation instructions.
Service manuals are updated on a regular basis. This is done as product
changes occur or if new information becomes available. In this publication, an

denotes changes from the previous edition or additional new material.
