DIRECT VENT ANO COMBUSTION
AIR PIPE SIZING INFORMATION
The following table lists the
maximum pipe length in feet (shaded
area) of the exhaust and combustion
air pipes that are allowable. The pipe
length depends on the number of
elbows used, the furnace input and
the type of termination used.
The
length and number of elbows
applies to each pipe.
y
TABLE18
The combustion air and exhaust
pipes should be the same length and
terminate in the same pressure zone.
For example, the 60,000 BTUH
furnace with 2" pipe may use 35 feet
of pipe and four elbows when the
standard termination is used.
A maximum of six (6) medium or
long sweep elbows may be used.
One 45° elbow is equivalent to one
90° elbow. When making an elbow
count, DO NOT include the elbows
used in the terminations.
