Before beginning any troubleshooting procedure, complete the following checklist. A furnace malfunction is sometimes
caused by an improper installation. By completing this checklist the problem may be found and corrected. Make copies of the
checklist and complete one for every service call for your records.

FURNACE INSTALLATION

SECONDARY HEAT EXCHANGER CONDENSATE DRAIN
___ Trap filled with water (See procedure and drawing in this manual.)

___ Sloped (Drain line must slope a minimum of 1/4" per foot.)
___ Freeze protection. (Drain line must be free of ice or any other obstruction.)
