VERTICAL CONCENTRIC VENT
KIT - RXGY - E02
This termination kit is for vertical
venVintake air runs and should be
used where extended periods of sub-
freezing weather are expected. It
applies to all sizes of the 90 Plus
furnace. The following parts are
included in the kit:
1. Vent, inlet wye and inlet pipe
assembly,
2. 4" x 2" modified reducer
coupling. DO NOT USE A
STANDARD REDUCER
COUPLING,
3. 3" 45° Street Elbow.
Install the kit as follows. Consult the
illustration, Figure 43.
1. Cut a 4-1/8" diameter hole
through the roof. If the vent
termination length must be
reduced, see step 7.
2. Remove the 4" x 2" reducer
coupling from the assembly.
From inside the structure, insert
the assembly through the roof.
The assembly must be secured
with metal strapping on the
inside of the roof to prevent
damage from prevailing winds
on the outside. Wrap the 3• pipe
passing through the roof with
insulation to center it in the
4-1/8" opening.
3.
Glue the 3" pipe to the inlet wye underside of the inlet air
at this point using the coupling and pitched roofs and
appropriate PVC primer and other obstructions. Increase the
cement.
