CONNECTIONS
Electronic Air Cleaner
Connect the line voltage wiring of an
electronic air cleaner to the screw
terminal "EAC" and neutral on the
IFC. This powers the EAC whenever
the main blower operates.
Install the electronic air cleaner in
accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
Humidifier
Connect the line voltage wiring of a
humidifier to the screw terminal
"HUM" and neutral on the IFC. This
powers the humidifier whenever the
burners are on and the main blower
operates in the heating speed.
The Honeywell E2001, UTEC -920
and -927 IFC boards delay the
humidifier start for five seconds after
the blower starts. It terminates
humidifier operation 30 seconds
before the blower stops its heating
speed.
Install the humidifier in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions.

90 Plus furnace installations at high
elevations need high altitude kits
installed for proper operation. The
high altitude kit consists of a high
altitude pressure switch to replace
the one attached to the induced draft
blower. It also contains high altitude
gas orifices. The pressure switch
must be installed at elevations of
5000 feet and above. The orifices
must be installed at elevations of
8000 feet and above.
